I am so excited to have my LYS, Yarnology, be the first to share a brand new collection of patterns tomorrow (Friday, Sept 18, 2020). The OFFICIAL release will be Tuesday, Sept 22nd...but we just couldn't wait that long.
So a quick bit about Eckert Street before the Official launch day...get a first-hand peek at the samples styled and modeled if you check into the Yarnology Zoom Event on Friday through the Have a Ball Fall Crawl. If you have not signed up...check out the website for more details.
Here are some quick deets on the shawl collection:
The collection is of 4 shawls, using the same stitch techniques in different shawl shapes - a shawlette, triangular shawl, asymmetrical shawl (coming 9/22), and a rectangular wrap.
All samples were knit in fingering using The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering purchased at Yarnology (you can purchase online too!) BUT use any fingering weight you have in your stash or something new you have been dreaming about! My amazing test knitters knit in a variety of fibers, speckled, variegated, etc and they are all gorgeous!
The pattern will only be available through the Milly's Knits Pattern Shop. (Please note: orders placed before 9/22 will receive only 3 patterns in the collection; the 4th pattern will be released on 9/22 and will be sent to you as an update).
Eckert Street is a real place here in my hometown and on Oct 8th we will be gathering together in-person (socially-distanced of course) and virtually to cast-on for my first ever Milly's Knits KAL! Please join us!!
