Wool hats and cables. A favorite combination of mine. Recently updated to include multiple sizes, Lutsen is a quick knit hat and may be knit with or without a cable needle.

When the opportunity arose to join Anne Hanson of Bare Naked Wools/Knitspot and design a pattern for her 2019 Festivus 5.0 Red Scarf Scholarship Program, I was thrilled. I also immediately knew the design needed to include cables.

It’s knit in a sport weight yarn custom for the Red Scarf Scholarship Program. But a DK weight substitutes nicely too. The 100% wool creates beautiful stitch definition making the cables and twists pop.
