    A simple raglan top down sweater with a decorative twist raglan. Notes and tips included to personalize to your perfect fit. This size-inclusive sweater is meant to be worn with 2-6½” of ease or more for your ideal fit.

     

    The fold-over neckband provides a nice soft and stretchy finish along your neck and high-low waist can be modified to your desired length. With no waist shaping, this has a relaxed, perfect sweatshirt fit.

    To choose your size, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your bust, then add 2-6” (depending on how much ease you want) and choose the closest size. 

     

    If you are between sizes, you can size up or down depending on whether you want more or less ease in the bicep (see chart on last page for full finished sweater schematics).

     

    YARN

    Designed for worsted weight yarn.

     

    The sample is knit in House of A La Mode House Worsted (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 218 yd / 199 m, 100 g) in Moonlit Sprig.

    Sample knit is size 6 with 1¾” of positive ease (51” bust).

     

    Yarn requirements by yardage: 812 (950, 1065, 1254)1464, 1523, 1571{1896, 2114, 2463, 2724} yd

    Yarn requirements by meter: 742 (869, 974, 1147)1338, 1392, 1437{1733, 1933, 2252, 2490} m

     

    GAUGE

    18.5 sts / 27 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette in the round, blocked

     

    NEEDLES

    US 6 / 4.0 mm, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm circular needles and DPNs for sleeves if not using magic loop 
    US 7 / 4.5 mm, 16” / 40 cm and 32” / 80 cm circular needles

     

    TOOLS

    stitch markers (qty 9), scrap yarn, tapestry needle
