VIOLET
A special color not easily produced. A reminder of loyalty, thoughtfulness and dependability. A beautiful flower that is delicate yet resilient.
This shawl was birthed from a gorgeous collection my friend Shellie dyed. I was so excited to receive her yarns and begin swatching and Violet Duchess was the result.
This uniquely shaped wrap begins with and i-cord cast-on, worked in a 2x2 rib with a cable and eyelet motif throughout. Each right side you will increase adjusting the width of your wrap and then after the center is knit you will be to decrease each right side to shorten the width. All the while maintaining a clean i-cord edge.
Knit holding fingering and mohair together, this is a scrumptious wrap! Enjoy
